Powerball 33 edition by Connie Spittler Literature Fiction eBooks
What would you do if you won the lottery? Connie Spittler poses that question for her young handyman, Ed Frink, who has never in his life had an extra dime to spend. Although Ed kind of likes the things he's got--his rusty old pickup, his windowless cabin, his ratty old furniture--he is soon overwhelmed by long lost relations, designing women, a couple of Las Vegas mobsters, and his two best friends' extravagant ideas about where he should spend his money. A generous soul, Frink flounders through his first weeks as a multi-millionaire, allowing an entire cast of characters to bamboozle him. But Ed is his own man who values the peace and quiet he had before the money and POWERBALL 33 becomes a laugh out loud struggle to regain that comfort in the face of his new wealth. A great story about what's really important in life.Product details

Powerball 33 edition by Connie Spittler Literature Fiction eBooks Reviews
I picked this up on a whim at the public library, and was delighted. It's a fast read and it sucks you into an incredible world of people you can relate to, know or even can see in the mirror. It's about who you are before you think that money will solve all your problems. I couldn't believe that Ed would not see the ulterior motives of the friends and acquaintances who loved what money could do for them, other people money, of course. I loved the innocence and naivete of the main character, his basic trust of friends and family, and the way the story rambles and weaves the subplots together. well worth the time to get to the end. and a fine ending indeed.
This novel was quirky and fun. It's a fast read about a man who gets in over his head after winning the lottery. Nice ending as well.
"POWERBALL 33" is an exciting book and hard to put down. The characters are well painted, so that you can see the actions happening. There is some humor embedded within the story in the names - look for it! Perfect ending for all!
Do not think it is a very good book, found it hard to keep my interest.
Know the Author and thought she has had better novels.
I learned more fun facts from reading this book than I could ever imagine. Connie Spittler has a way with words and knowlege!
I liked this book for the simplicity of the main character, his goodness and kind heart. It shows how money corrupts and clouds peoples mind. How money changes some people, for good or bad. Great lesson the the quality of one's character.
It's a story about a regular guy and what happens to him when he wins the lotto. You will love the characters and hate to see the book end. What outstanding writing, it just keeps you interested all the way through.
This lady can WRITE! I'm going straight from this review to see if I can find another of her books! Don't hesitate to enjoy this book.
